On the Spiegelgracht since 1972

Our shop has been at Spiegelgracht 27, between the Rijksmuseum and the Prinsengracht, since 1972. More than fifty years later you will still find it in the same place: a striped awning, a basement full of prints and, outside, the wooden crates that passers-by can never quite walk past. The building dates from the late seventeenth century and is a listed monument. We cannot imagine a better place for old prints.

Since that first day the shop has run on one thing: personal contact. No big campaigns, just a shop where you take your time, ask questions and go home with something beautiful. Personal advice comes as standard. Online you will find a selection; in the shop there is much more.

From antiquarian shop to fine art prints

Alongside antique prints, we now make our own fine art prints. We choose subjects we love ourselves: anatomical plates, natural history drawings, flowers, mushrooms and, of course, Amsterdam. Every print is made in high quality, so the fine lines and soft colours come into their own.

With this online shop you can browse and order the collection from home. Still, the shop remains our heart. There is far more there than fits online.
